    Someone on the phone call said to the person I love most. Although I could obviously hear it, I didn’t respond that day. It was a cloudy summer evening and we’re heading to ‘Bulbuli’ for a cup of tea. However, occasionally things that you didn’t pay attention to, at the time startle you .

   “So, with your words you even succeeded in purchasing me, right?” I asked two days later, while observing dogs on the library grounds chasing one another. 

   “I’m not a monger to buy and sell people by words … “

   “ But everyone says that you do.” I said     

   “Why do you continuously put other people in our way? Holding your hand makes me forget everything. And you simply…..”                                                  

    I said in-between  “so you have  stolen me.”  

Silence for a moment

     “ May be… I’m not sure…ahh..  but I’m sure that you’ve stolen both my soul.” He said 

     “ This is baseless.. I’m leaving “

      “ Stop, you will have time to make your face puffy. I’m only here for the next 10 days to spend time with you and remind you that these are my final days of university. Believe me I have never felt such a powerful essence toward anyone before.” Holding my hand He said.

    “Hmm.. but there are many individuals who will miss you and cry when you leave this campus, and I am certain that I am one of them without exception.” My words are getting faster than usual.

  

   “On this point, I only agree with you partially, but you are unique.  You’re Different in feelings, attitude and observation and the most essential thing is that you are cute and I appreciate your passionate kiss Ha-ha. “

    He continued “We should forget people, not the moment. But it’s not possible to forget you. Every corner and every moment in DU will remind me of you.” 

    “Again manipulating words..!”

    “Already told you I’m not a monger”

    “You know I wasn’t always honest with others about my anxieties and insecurities. But before I told you, you identified each one.”

    "Hmm now your responsibility at this point is to cross each one as you walk forward. I am aware of your tendency toward introversion. Go through the crowd, always choose the road where people are standing, don’t deviate when you notice people, and never take a step back.”

   “ Huhh.. you’re being a cringe motivational speaker”

    “ Lame joke…”

    “ I don’t have faith in God, you already know. But why did you give me that statue of Krishna as a gift?” I asked

    “because my mom gave it to me. And my mother’s blessings also needs to be with you. I’ve never sobbed for anyone other than my mother and now for you … you are the only person I have ever sobbed in front of.

    "Why you comparing your mom with a stupid girl like me..”

   “Because you are special “

   “ You’re trying to manipulate me with words, right?”

   “No need… you’re already mine.” He said and laugh 

   “Stupid…go to your room it’s already 9” 

   “You?”

   “I’m here for the next half and hour”

    “Why?

    “I’m preparing myself to be away from you for the next two semesters. Not even seeing you for the entire year in the campus will be difficult.” Having my eyes fixed on hers, I said.

   He kissed my right chick before leaving. It is already nine, the majority of people are leaving LNB library. All the benches outside went  vacant. The final couple who were sitting next to us left holding each other hands. I just put on my headphones and got lost in my thoughts, wondering  Will that shoulder be always there to lean? I suppose I’m still unsure.
